🎙️📻 This Month's Radio Visit – Get Into Volunteering & Stay Safe This Festival Season 🚔

Police Community Support Officer 6196 and Police Volunteer 5544 attended EAVA FM to discuss the fantastic opportunities available through police volunteering, as well as sharing important community safety and crime prevention advice ahead of the busy festival season. 🤝🎉

The discussion highlighted the valuable role that Police Support Volunteers play in supporting local policing, engaging with communities, assisting at events, and helping to make our neighbourhoods safer. We also encouraged listeners who are interested in giving back to their community to consider joining our volunteer team. 🚔

With festival season underway, we shared practical safety advice to help residents stay safe while attending celebrations and events, including keeping personal belongings secure, remaining vigilant in crowded areas, looking out for family and friends, and reporting suspicious behaviour promptly. 🏘️👀🔒
